The short answer is YES!
In-House employees are expensive for employers to upkeep with since they need health and savings benefits. In many cases, hiring in-house employees to do certain specialized tasks can be more costly when training and hiring expenses are factored in. Often employers hire workers only to realize soon after, that the employee is under-skilled, which is where the expensive training comes into the equation.

Consider outsourcing to a part of your country with lower rates? By doing so, you may be able to save your coins and spend more money on projects to scale your business. (as you have always wanted to)
Unlike employees, freelancers can be hired to work on a specific project for a predetermined amount of time. Once the project ends, so does your contract with that freelancer. No need to keep paying for services you no longer need #Nohardfeelings. You can always hire the same freelancer for future projects or try out another one based on the specific needs of that project.
Finally let's address the elephant in the room: OFFICE DRAMA! Like it or not, once your team grows, the more personalities have to compromise with one another, the greater the potential for office politics. Office Politics usually equals drama! 60% of the reason why I decided to start my own business was because of office politics/drama.
Avoid these headaches and more importantly the extra expenses by hiring highly qualified freelancers or contractors. One of the greatest pitfalls new business owners get themselves into is that they try to do it all themselves. Our advice to you is to hire help!
